The Grill Room at Windsor Court

So I made it to The Grill Room at Windsor Court in New Orleans.

I don’t normally rate a restaurant but I would certainly give this place a 5/5 stars for excellence!  Not only was the food ahhmazing but also the staff was full of southern hospitality!  I was beyond impressed.

Sydney and I took full advantage of the Lunch Plate.  Monday through Saturday you can get a meat and three gourmet plate lunch for just $19.84.   The $19.84 price tag is a nod to the hotel’s opening.  The restaurant also offers $2 martinis made with Tito’s Vodka or Plymouth Gin.  Could it get any sweeter?

The Grill Room is one of New Orleans’ only four-star/four-diamond restaurant  The ingredients are locally sourced and the chef cooks up an amazing cuisine that only can be found in the South.

The Grill Room at Windsor Court is a must for anyone traveling to New Orleans.  Just tell them FourOneOh! sent you!

And please make sure to try the Perfect Pear Martini!  It’s heaven.  Trust me.

Light Up Lexington

Talk about an evening to remember!  I had such a fun time at “Light up Lexington” at one of Baltimore’s long standing landmarks, Lexington Market!   Live music, beer, and great food always seem to make a perfect combination and Lexington Market nailed it on the head!  I ran into Amy from Charm City Cook who worked her magic to pair local chefs with some of the Lexington Market vendors.  What a cool idea!

I love Failey’s crab cakes and it was great trying something new at Lexington Market.  I have high hopes for “Light up Lexington” and hopefully this means they will attract new customers and potentially new vendors.  Lexington Market has been around for over 200 years and I would love to see it continue to be apart of Baltimore’s history for another 200 years.

Lexington Market Vendors included Failey’s Seafood, Berger’s Bakery, Dudley’s Fries, Sausage Master, Park’s Fried Chicken, Park’s Hamburger’s, Paul’s BBQ, Memsahib, and Healthy Choice.

Outside participants included Clementine, Cafe Cito, Penn & Quill, Sobo Cafe, The Corner Pantry, Alewife, The Local Fry and Dooby’s.

Stay Tuned for the next “Light up Lexington!”
