December Favorites

#Flatllaynation!!  I love it!  I had so much fun doing this layout of my favorite things.  I’m hoping to get better and better at capturing them.  This month has been pretty awesome for Four One OH!.  I won a Frye contest and Guess told me that I would be working with them on a long-term basis!  I am super excited to be working with Guess because I absolutely love watches.  I will get the opportunity to style watches all year long!

I have always been a sucker for black.  As you can see, black is a major part of my december favorites.  Get the details here:

Apple iPad mini // Moo Business Cards (yay!) // Jeffrey Campbell Holy Grail boots // Vosges Bacon Chocolate (beyond amazing) // Guess Watch // Chanel Perfume // MAC Blush Palette (obsessed) // Anastasia Brow Pomade // Nars Lipstick // Makeup Forever Lipstick // Mini Altoids // Sunnies

Stay tuned for more December Favorites!!!

DVF Wrap Dress

The DVF wrap dress is just a pure classic!  Diane von Furstenberg is best known for introducing the knitted “wrap dress” in 1974.  Almost 40 years later it is sill as relevant and as trendy as when it first debuted in the fashion scene.  My trip to the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) was amazing!  Just so happen that this is the BMA’s 100th year which coincides perfectly with the anniversary of the classic DVF wrap dress.  I should also add I am wearing the DVF signature print!  (I didn’t find this out until one of my good friends shared this with me!)  While, taking a tour of the BMA, I noticed an Andy Warhol room!  OK, this could not have worked out any better.   If you don’t know Diane von Furstenberg served as one of Andy Warhol’s muses!  Her face is perhaps one of my most favorite works by the artist.

Historic Annapolis

Welcome to the capital of Maryland, Historic Annapolis. Just 30 mins outside of Baltimore, Historic Annapolis is a must-see.  Full of history and quant architecture, I love the small town vibe of this town.  Cute shops, fun restaurants and great views of the Chesapeake surround Annapolis!  I’m always surprised to learn about how so few Baltimoreans actually make time to see Annapolis, so I encourage you all to take a trip over the bridge!!

From the Annapolis tourist website.  ”

Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay is a mecca for individuals with a passion for things to do on the water. Our sailing schools, regattas, and weeknight races provide lovers of all things water with a daily fill of waterfront magic. A host of Annapolis public cruises, private charters, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding opportunities make it easy for kids of all ages to don their water wings and make like a local.

Surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay, four rivers and more than 400 miles of shoreline, we are proud of ourmaritime heritage. Spend a Sunday afternoon exploring the things to do in Deale, Shady Side, and Galesville, and you’ll discover just how much the rivers and Bay have shaped the lives of generations of farmers and watermen. The pace picks up as you head toward BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Home of Fort Meade and the National Security Agency, Annapolis Baltimore is the cyber security capital of the nation and home to the newMaryland Live! Casino.

Whether you are looking for culture or cuisine, nightlife or Navy, art or architecture, spas or sports, you’re sure to find great things to do in Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay.”
