My motto is keep it simple but in my world I was really taking a risk with this gold dress that I found in H&M. After putting it together with a pair of black jeans and Dr Martens, I realized that I really wasn’t taking that much of a risk. Lol. It super bright yes, but the simplicity of the design makes this a very everyday look! Not to mention that it goes pretty fabulous with my blood red Dr Marten boots.
I love Baltimore. Our oldest communities have so much charm about them. I especially love the Bolton Hill neighborhood because I love brownstones. When the owners are able to keep most of the original parts of the house, it’s simply amazing. Bolton Hill is especially great for finding beautiful doors. Like the one pictures here. You could walk around this neighborhood and just take pictures of the original doors. This door looks like it still has its original hardware and I love it!
Now on to my outfit, I’m wearing the cutest denim short overalls that I scored from H&M. The overalls are actually from the teen collection. Lol. But the largest size fits me perfectly. You can’t beat the $22 price tag either. Like most overalls, they are just as easy to style as a pair of jeans. My newest fedora was also scored at H&M. The light color is perfect for summer so I know I will be getting plenty of wear from this hat!

Well Coachella is over but that just means music festival season has officially begun!!! Most of us think we have to dress like hippies to attend… It’s all about being comfortable and free. Okay, that sounds like a hippie so I’ll say you don’t have to wear bell bottoms and flower crown hats. Festival fashion can be your favorite pair of jeans, a cool top and some sneakers. Just be you!
I love denim, and Free People has some awesome and comfortable pieces in their collection. I am such a sucker for the cut-out knee trend. I found this top at H&M. You can wear it with way in my opinion, I actually think I might be wearing is backwards but I love the detail.
