Dinner at Magdalena Baltimore in the Ivy Hotel
So let’s talk about this amazing dinner I had at the restaurant Magdalena inside of Baltimore’s super chic “The Ivy Hotel.” The Magdalena boasts itself as a fine-dining bistro and a culinary jewel of Baltimore. I COULDN’T AGREE MORE!
The menu is built upon the finest local ingredients, and changes with the seasons and the inspiration of the chef. The chef, Mark Levy, is doing a little more than cooking in that kitchen, he is putting love and skill in these dishes.
My guest and I were amazed at how beautifully plated each dish was as well as the combination of flavors.
Favorite Appetizer: Raw & Shellfish Platter & Salad of Belgian Endive & Braeburn Apple
Favorite Entree: Roasted Magret Duck Breast, Corn Blinis, Grilled Peach, Chanterelles & Duck Sausage Gravy
Favorite Desert: Meyer Lemon & Huckleberry Sundae, Olive Oil Cake & Coconut Cream
